3D Clock App Reviews
I purchased your first clock app a while back, called 6 on top. This new one, 3D clock has now replaced that. I love the selection of clocks, although theres only the odd few that I really like. My favorite is the one being shown as default. Very modern, I love it a lot. This is a wonderful little app, and makes my Mac even cooler. I may be a little addicted to the default blue 3D Clock - I cant stop looking at it! Thanks, love your apps a lot. Keep up the good work!
I installed the app, set some preferences and thats all I am able to do. I cant quit the app, it does not show in the finder, it does not show in the force quit utility. When I click on the icon in my app folder it to try to open up the preferences again, nothing opens. I cant trash the app becausese I cant close it! BAD, BAD, BAD. Someone please help me get rid of the lemon!
For $1, this app would be perfect, but for $2, there needs to be more colorful clock styles! Ill change my review when more are added! Also, I cant get the "swipe to change clock styles" feature to work...
This is an awesome clock to have on my mac. Well worth the price as I wanted a clock to display and you have so many nice clocks to pick from. THANKS to the developer for doing a GREAT job on this app. WOW!!! Nice update. THANKS again.
I like for now...
Check mrmory usage over time…it is a beautiful clock. If I could put on mini alarms itd be great.
A clock that sits right on your desktop which makes telling time even easier. Works great on an extra monitor. I only wish that the menubar icon was able to be hidden because I have so many right now. Hopefuly a future update will make this possible, and if it does Ill increase my rating. UPDATE:::::: Recent update added the ability to remove the icon from your menu/status bar. Thank you Dev for adding this. Now this app has everything I need in a desktop clock. Hopefully future updates will bring new clock styles, but as it is right now …. it works just as I hoped for. Grab it, if your looking for a clock for your desktop.
I am using an IMac, Lion 10.7.3 You can drag the clock to anyplace you want on the desktop. By clicking twice on the clock the Prefernce Menu appears. Here you can resize the clock, select the 12 or 24 hour format, select the style of clock from 20 different ones, select the super lite option, if you wish you can have the clock always float on top, and opt to have it start on log in. You can also have it show up on the status bar. I give it 5 stars.
One problem I have, it doesnt show up on the screen when I turn the computer on. Even when I check "auto start at login". I have to click on the 3D clock icon to start it up. Also, it overlaps on my browser ( I have it in the middle on my desktop ) and it appears on my screen whenever a play a game.
I use style 16, 24 hour clock, and size it and move it just next to my dock. This style shows time, date, and day of the week in a colorful, easy to read display and shows time both in digital 24 hr and and analog 12 hour am/pm format. I start it automatically when I logon. It shows on all desktops (I have 7). However in Lion 7.4, it does not float on top It. Between boots, restarts, and logoff/login it does remember the style but not its last position on the screen.
Nice, but not really 24 hour
I bought it looking for a 24-hour analog clock. 24-hour mode just shows a digital 24 clock embedded in certain styles. Not worth $1.99.
Its what I wanted, but every time someone in my family switches users and I log back in I have to restart the clock( it doesnt show up) even though I have the auto start at login option checked. Sense I have to restart it a couple times every day it only gets 3 stars. The auto start at login option doesnt work. Please fix.
I ticked the box so it would start at launch, and it does not. The only solution I had was to drag the application into the login items in the Users and Groups section in System Preferences.
Reminds me of my Linux days. Anyone else remember the excitement of Beryl? Anyway, this works as advertised on the latest Mac OS. Resizing is a nice touch.
